Healthcare Camps

CFC’s Healthcare Camps Project aims to provide free medical consultations, treatment recommendations, and medicines to the residents of Mohammadi Colony in Karachi. The community’s inadequate hygiene and sanitation standards leave inhabitants vulnerable to skin disorders, illnesses and diseases that are preventable. The healthcare camps provide much-needed health education and consultations.

CFC began conducting these camps in 2000 and continues to do so regularly in collaboration with a number of organisations, including the Pakistan Medical Association, Civil Hospital, and the Welfare Association for Dermatological Patients. The camps are specifically targeted to meet the needs of the colony residents , with Skincare, Paediatric, and Gynaecology camps available to meet the needs of diverse groups.

CFC’s goa is to promote the health and well-being of the people of Mohammadi Colony and give them access to world-class healthcare treatments that they would not be in a position to afford otherwise. The camps serve around 800 people in a six-hour time frame which has a great impact on the neighborhood and their otherwise neglected health concerns.
In a nation like Pakistan, where healthcare services are frequently insufficient or out of reach for marginalised populations, efforts like CFC’s Healthcare Camps Project are critical to improve the health of those in need. CFC addresses citizens’ urgent health needs while also helping to the community’s long-term wellness and health by offering free medical assessments, recommendations for medical care, and medicines.
