Asher Ali is a social scientist. He did his masters in Environmental Sciences His career entails strategic and operational leadership roles with over 22 years of experience with leading social development organizations. A long standing Development Practitioner and Social Activist providing professional advices to international multilateral aid agencies such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Royal Netherlands Embassy, The Max Foundation -USA, UNDP and working with public sector and development organizations at national level for execution of projects in different development sectors.
He is currently engaged in managing an Intensified Polio Eradication Project with Rotary International as National Project Manager, Pakistan. He is mainly responsible for executing intensified polio eradication initiatives. He works closely to polio partners in Pakistan like UNICEF, WHO, EPI. He applied three project models to eradicate polio. The models proved to be very successful as they are contextual to the specific need of high risk areas. He is sharing different approaches to eliminate polio with polio partners in the country.
He also has a wide and varied range of social and economic sector experience including work as a rural (development) economist with various international/ national organizations.
Sabin launched herself as an aspiring psychologist, moved to the corporate sector and has over 15 years of HR & OD professional experience with different organizations across industries. Alongwith corporate sector, she has also been associated with the educational and development sector working for social, emotional and psychological well being.
She has enriched people and management skills through training, facilitation, counselling, OD interventions etc. She believes in inspiring human capital to enhance competencies/capacities, perking up strengths within each individual.
Furthermore, she actively engages herself in writing articles and providing invisible hands to empower people and choose their way. An overall insightful experience that came with travelling, interacting with different client portfolios from public to private and international / multinationals.
Zehra Aneek has over 23 years of cross-functional expertise in ESG and Sustainability, strategic communications, business strategy, and marketing. She was associated with K-Electric Limited, the only privatized vertically integrated utility in Pakistan, for the past 14 years as Director ESG & Sustainability.
She is personally invested in the cause of children rights and education, empowering women and climate equity. She is on the Advisory board of Roshni Helpline, which has a huge footprint and is focused on the cause of missing children and child abuse.
Zehra is a member of Women in Energy. International Society for Sustainable Professionals USA and Corporate Pakistan Group. She is a mentor for Climate Launchpad Pakistan, Women in Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Girl 2030 program. She is a frequent contributor and Speaker at various climate, energy, ESG, and diversity and Inclusion related national and international events and platforms.
